Sparkling Wine

When it comes to great wine at celebrations and special occasions, sparkling wine is the wine of choice.  This wine has that flavor and aroma that people love and admire.  Another thing about sparkling wine that people love is once it’s poured into the glass, tiny bubbles race to the surface.

Sparkling wine was first discovered by Dom Perignon in France.  He actually stumbled onto this wine by mistake while performing his duties as a cellar master in the Benedictine Abbey.  He would later hide his discovery for many years from the public.

His discovery wasn’t popular at first, but it would grow and become popular over the years.  Once people found out about this wine, they had to try it for themselves to see what the fuss was all about.  From there on, more and more people all over Europe start enjoying it. In no time, people all over the world started to enjoy sparkling wine also.

The formula and techniques that Dom used to make the sparkling wines would become the standard ways of making Champagne.  Even though this wine is made in various locations throughout the world, many agree that the best sparkling wines are made in the Champagne region of France.

These days, sparkling wine is a must-have drink for events and celebrations.  There are many manufacturers that make sparkling wines, but the most prefer to have the original and the still the best one – Dom Perignon.  This wine will never go extinct and where ever there’s a celebration, you can be sure there will be sparkling wines there.
